Our Program
At Brinton Goldens, we are dedicated to providing healthy and ethically bred golden retrievers to loving homes. We are a family-owned breeder in East Idaho and take great pride in our dogs. Each of our dogs are health tested, vaccinated and microchipped, and we strive to ensure that they are well socialized and cared for.
We understand that each family is looking for a special four-legged addition to their home, and we take the time to get to know our customers to ensure they find the perfect companion.
Feeding
We feed our dogs Diamond Naturals. We require our puppy families to be feeding high quality food in order for health guarantee to be valid. If you need recommendations we are happy to provide a list of quality kibble.

We know our Goldens needs are constantly changing! We provide the best organic supplements for every season of life.

If we wouldn't be able to eat what our dogs are, we don't give it to them.
Your puppy will go home completely weaned and sent home with a small bag of kibble.
Puppy Aptitude
Training
We follow an intensive program from well before our puppies are born. Kelsey has completed several trainings and continues to stay updated and educated. We follow Puppy Culture, Avidog, and do ENS & ENI training. This ensures we raise advanced puppies and create successful placement. Following these courses allows our puppies to create stronger and deeper neurological pathways resulting in well mannered, easily trainable dogs. all puppies will receive volhard temperament testing prior to going to their new homes to help ensure they go home to the place they will thrive the best!
Crate Training
Crate training is safe training. We know it's crucial for animals to be crate trained when they are unattended. We start this process for you! We have crates in our puppy area from a young age so they can become comfortable with them!
Socialization
Goldens are natural lovers but we wanted to take the extra step to help them become extra lovable. Our puppies are well socialized with babies, kids, seniors, other animals and everything in between. We take them on car rides, through the drive thru, and make a stop or two at Home Depot! There wont be a person who isn't obsessed with these dogs and the feeling will be mutual!
Potty Training
Potty Training may be the most frustrating thing for a new puppy owner. While we cant have them potty trained before they leave us, we can help start the process! We do early litter box training and early potty training. We have a few tricks up our sleeve to help with this process and will offer all our knowledge and support to help in this process.
